Transparency and review

Engineering Content & Project Publication Policy

This policy defines how technical guidance, project examples, metrics, certification language, authorship, updates, and corrections should appear on DRAmetal.com.

Customer-project information: anonymous project pages describe the materials, problems, solutions and results provided and confirmed by DRAmetal. Results apply to the stated project configuration, not to every part or future order.
Current authorship note: much of the existing library is team-authored. The site now supports named reviewer, role, review date, and visible update fields, but no individual identity will be invented to fill them.
Machine-readable sources: Machine-readable source and citation guide identifies canonical references and responsibility boundaries; it is not proof of certification, verified customer projects, or independent product validation.
Editorial rules

Six standards applied during content review

01

Project status is explicit

Anonymous customer projects use project information supplied and confirmed by DRAmetal for public release. Customer names remain confidential. A separate Verified Customer Project label requires the additional record and reviewer checks described below; illustrative engineering content remains clearly identified.

02

Numbers need a basis

Dimensions, tolerances, lead times, cost changes, defect rates, and other metrics should identify their drawing, test, inspection, calculation, quotation, or scenario basis. Unsupported marketing numbers are removed.

03

Certifications are scoped

Material certificates, listed components, supplier declarations, process records, and company certifications are different things. Content must not imply that one automatically proves another.

04

Updates are visible

Published and updated dates are shown when available. Material technical changes should update the page date; formatting-only changes should not create a false freshness signal.

05

Visuals are not evidence by default

A product or process image illustrates the subject unless its caption identifies it as controlled evidence from the discussed project. Decorative imagery is not a substitute for inspection or customer records.

06

Corrections stay open

Readers can report an error or ambiguous claim. Corrections should address the affected page and technical point without requiring a sales inquiry.

Case-study labels

Project information and verification scope

A

Anonymous customer project

Project details and inspection or test results are supplied and confirmed by DRAmetal, with approval for anonymous publication. This is not a claim of independent verification. Images identified as references show component types rather than a specific customer's delivered parts.

V

Verified customer project

This label is not currently used. It may be applied only after a controlled drawing, quotation or order reference, inspection record, approved project imagery or documented result is reviewed and the publication scope is approved.

R

Representative manufacturing scenario

The page explains a plausible engineering and sourcing workflow but is not presented as evidence of a specific customer result. Any example dimensions or outcomes are identified as illustrative and do not become a supplier capability guarantee.

Technical corrections

Report a content issue

Send the page URL, the sentence or table in question, and the drawing, standard, source, or reasoning that supports the correction. Do not include confidential drawings or customer data unless an authorized project channel has been agreed.

Email sales@drametal.com with the subject “Website technical correction.” A correction request is separate from a quotation request.
