Material Overview

Bronze alloys — copper combined with tin, aluminum or phosphorus — deliver exceptional wear resistance, fatigue strength and corrosion immunity, especially in seawater. We process the four most-specified families: phosphor bronze (C51000), tin-lead bronze (C54400), aluminum bronze (QAl9-4 / C95400) and bearing bronze (C93200 / SAE 660) — covering springs, marine propellers, heavy gears and self-lubricating bushings.

This page covers alloy-family selection rather than finished-part sourcing. Review the coil and stamping tooling DFM guide for strip tolerance, grain, burr and die decisions. The linked spring-profile tool qualification scenario is illustrative only and does not report a customer result.
