01 / What We Fabricate

A Mechanical Shell Built Around Acoustic Performance Requirements

Industrial acoustic enclosures combine sheet metal skins, customer-specified infill, sealed panel joints, access doors and ventilation paths. DRAmetal fabricates and assembles these mechanical elements to approved drawings; acoustic modeling, material selection and field performance remain customer-controlled.

Modular Acoustic Panels

Single or double-skin fabricated panels prepared for approved absorptive or barrier infill and bolted assembly.

Structural Frames and Bases

Welded support frames, lifting bases and equipment interfaces built around site and transport loads.

Acoustic Access Doors

Reinforced personnel and maintenance doors with customer-defined seals, latches, windows and threshold geometry.

Ventilation and Penetrations

Fabricated openings and transition pieces for acoustic louvers, silencers, ducts, piping and cable routes.

Our scope: the fabricated acoustic enclosure structure

The OEM or acoustic consultant owns noise-source data, attenuation targets, panel build-up, airflow and thermal design, fire behavior, structural load cases, field installation and final acoustic testing. DRAmetal manufactures the released mechanical design and agreed assembly scope.

04 / Manufacturing Process

From Acoustic Specification to Fabricated Panel System

01

Boundary Review

Confirm equipment envelope, panel construction, acoustic consultant's specification, airflow, access, penetrations and site loads.

02

DFM and Module Plan

Review panel sizes, seams, frames, doors, lifting, transport and field-assembly sequence.

03

First-Article Module

Build representative panels and a door or corner assembly to validate fit, hardware and manufacturing sequence.

04

Panel and Frame Fabrication

Form skins and liners, fixture-weld frames and install approved retainers and mechanical hardware.

05

Assembly-Level Check

Trial-assemble critical bays, doors and removable sections while checking louver, silencer and penetration interfaces.

06

Sequenced Packout

Protect panels and pack modules, fasteners and installation drawings by bay and site-assembly order.

05 / Why It Matters

What Makes an Acoustic Enclosure Manufacturable

Acoustic performance depends on the complete design, while production repeatability depends on panel geometry, seams, doors and assembly control.

Customer-Defined Panel Build-Up

Skin thickness, perforation, infill, barriers and seals must come from the validated acoustic design.

Continuous Mechanical Seams

Panel joints, doors and penetrations must assemble consistently without uncontrolled gaps or compressed infill.

Airflow and Service Access

Noise control cannot block equipment cooling, exhaust, inspection or component replacement paths.

Site Assembly Sequence

Large systems require clear module identification, hardware kits and installation order to reproduce factory fit.

07 / Why Choose Us

Why Equipment OEMs Choose DRAmetal

01

Panel-system DFM

We review skins, liners, frames, doors and removable sections as one mechanical assembly.

02

Large fabricated structures

Sheet metal panels and welded structural bases are coordinated under one production plan.

03

Trial-assembly control

Critical bays and door interfaces can be checked before knock-down shipment.

04

Installation-ready packout

Modules and hardware remain tied to bay position, drawing revision and site sequence.

09 / FAQ

Industrial Acoustic Enclosure FAQ

Does DRAmetal design the acoustic performance?

Our standard scope is build-to-print mechanical fabrication. The customer or acoustic consultant defines source data, attenuation target, panel build-up, infill, seals, ventilation and test method. We manufacture the released design.

Can you build compressor, pump and blower acoustic enclosures?

Yes. We can fabricate modular panels, welded frames, bases, doors, removable sections and drawing-defined louver, silencer, pipe and cable interfaces for these equipment types.

Can large enclosures be supplied knock-down?

Yes. Critical sections can be trial-assembled, then panels and hardware packed by bay and installation sequence. Site assembly and final validation remain under the customer's project plan.

Can you install acoustic infill?

Customer-approved infill and barrier materials can be installed when their handling, retention, fire behavior, PPE and acceptance requirements are included in the released manufacturing specification.
