Cabinet & Body
The structural shell — formed and welded steel, stainless, or aluminum, with a stable base for freestanding units. Seamless one-piece bends reinforce strength and clean up the look.
Custom self-service kiosk housings — freestanding, outdoor, wall-mount, and countertop — in cold-rolled steel, stainless, and aluminum. IP-ready sealing interfaces and vandal-resistant construction with precise display cutouts and thermal ventilation. We build the sheet metal enclosure; you integrate the screen, payment, and electronics.
A kiosk enclosure looks simple outside, but success depends on smart engineering inside — precise cutouts, thermal airflow, cable routing, and security. We fabricate the sheet metal housing, designed around the hardware you'll integrate.

Precise openings for the touchscreen, payment terminal, printer, scanner, and camera — cut and aligned so your hardware mounts cleanly and looks finished.
Lockable service doors and removable panels with tamper-resistant hardware — secure against vandalism, but accessible for maintenance and cash/consumable servicing.
Filtered air intakes, ventilation pathways, and internal cable routing and mounting provisions — the thermal and layout design that keeps integrated electronics running.
We fabricate the kiosk enclosure — cabinet, display and peripheral cutouts, access doors, panels, ventilation, and cable management — laser-cut, formed, welded, and finished, ready for integration. Bought-out components such as the touchscreen and display, payment terminal, receipt printer, barcode scanner, camera, computing unit, and network equipment are integrated by you or your system integrator. We design the enclosure with cutouts, mounts, and thermal provisions sized to your chosen hardware.
We fabricate the enclosure for the full range of self-service formats, indoor and outdoor, to your design.
Freestanding Floor-standing enclosures with a stable base for high-traffic areas — retail self-checkout, QSR ordering, wayfinding, and check-in.
Outdoor Stainless or aluminum enclosure metalwork with IP65-target sealing and thermal provisions, vandal-resistant construction — for ticketing, parking, and EV charging.
Wall-Mount Space-saving enclosures that mount to walls — for information displays, building directories, check-in, and access control in lobbies and corridors.
Countertop Compact enclosures for point-of-sale and information displays — secure mounting and easy access panels in a small, sleek footprint.
A kiosk has to survive its environment, deter vandalism, keep electronics cool, and fit the hardware exactly. Here's what we fabricate to.
| Materials | Cold-rolled steel (indoor); 304/316 stainless & aluminum (outdoor/security) |
|---|---|
| Security Features | Material grade and thickness defined by the buyer's security assessment |
| IP Rating | IP54 (indoor splash) to IP65+ (full outdoor dust/water) — designed to target |
| Cutting & Forming | Fiber laser cutting + CNC forming; seamless one-piece bends for strength |
| Cutouts | Precise display, payment, printer, scanner, and camera openings |
| Security | Lockable doors, tamper-resistant hardware, anti-vandal construction |
| Thermal | Ventilation pathways, filtered intakes, provisions for fans/climate units |
| Finishing | Powder coat (RAL/Pantone match), anti-glare options, stainless finishes |
| Formats | Freestanding, outdoor, wall-mount, countertop |
We fabricate the enclosure to your drawing, with cutouts, mounts, and thermal provisions sized to your hardware. Touchscreens, displays, payment terminals, printers, scanners, cameras, computing units, and network equipment are integrated by you or your system integrator.
Production success starts with engineering — catching bend interference, weld access, and tolerance issues before any metal is cut.
Review your drawings and hardware layout — confirm material (indoor steel vs outdoor stainless), cutout positions, thermal plan, and bend patterns.
Fiber laser cutting of body panels and all cutouts — display, payment, printer, scanner, camera, and ventilation openings, to precise position.
CNC press-brake forming — optimized bend patterns and seamless one-piece bends for clean appearance and structural rigidity with minimal distortion.
Welding the cabinet, installing lockable doors, hinges, and tamper-resistant hardware, plus cable management and mounting provisions.
Powder coat to your RAL/Pantone color (or stainless finish), with anti-glare and corrosion-protection options for outdoor durability.
Dimensional inspection of cutouts and mounting positions, fit check, and finish inspection before delivery for your integration.
The enclosure is what users touch and weather attacks. Four things separate a kiosk that lasts from one that fails early.
Outdoor kiosks need IP65+ to keep rain, snow, and dust out. The right material (stainless/aluminum) and sealing design protect the electronics inside for years in the field.
Public-facing kiosks can face vandalism and environmental damage. Material gauge, tamper-resistant hardware and acceptance tests should follow the buyer's risk assessment.
Enclosed electronics generate heat; without airflow they overheat and fail early. Ventilation pathways and filtered intakes — balanced against dust/moisture protection — keep them alive.
Cutouts and mounts must match the hardware exactly. A misaligned display or payment opening looks cheap and won't seal — precision is what makes the finished kiosk look and work right.

Indoor kiosks typically use cold-rolled steel with a powder-coat finish — economical and clean. Outdoor kiosks often use stainless steel or aluminum and may target IP65 after complete-system testing. For high-security or vandal-prone sites, the buyer defines the material, gauge, reinforcement and validation method from the applicable risk assessment.
We can fabricate sealing interfaces for OEM designs targeting IP54 through IP65. The OEM or test body owns final ingress testing and rating. For vandal resistance, we use heavy-gauge material and tamper-resistant hardware selected from the buyer's risk and service requirements; DRAmetal does not claim a fixed incident-rate reduction.
We design ventilation pathways and filtered air intakes, balanced against dust and moisture protection, plus provisions for fans or climate units on outdoor deployments. Thermal management is critical — enclosed electronics overheat and fail early without it, especially behind sunlight-readable displays.
Yes — send us drawings or 3D files (DWG, STEP, PDF) and we'll fabricate to your design intent, with cutouts and mounts for your hardware. We powder coat to your RAL or Pantone brand color, with anti-glare and finish options.
We support everything from a single prototype to volume rollouts. Send us your kiosk design and requirements and we'll confirm MOQ and pricing for your project.
Send us your kiosk design, deployment environment, and the hardware you'll integrate. Our engineering team will respond with a DFM review, a material and IP recommendation, and a quote for the sheet metal enclosure.
