01 / What We Fabricate

The Stainless Structure — Hygienic, Durable, Custom

A commercial worktable has to be hygienic, take daily abuse, and fit the space exactly. We fabricate the full stainless steel structure — top, legs, shelves, and base — to your sizes and specification.

Worktops

Smooth 304/316 stainless tops in drawing-defined gauge — easy to wipe clean, corrosion-resistant, with formed edges and optional V-edge to eliminate spillage.

Legs & Hat Channels

Stainless legs with hat-channel reinforcement for stability under load, with provisions for adjustable bullet feet to level on uneven floors.

Undershelves & Bases

Undershelves for storage, plus enclosed bases with sliding doors and drawers — load-rated stainless structure that maximizes the footprint.

Backsplashes & Edges

Formed backsplashes (e.g. 4" with a 1" return) to protect walls, plus turned edges and corners that keep the surface clean and safe.

Our scope: the stainless steel structure

We fabricate the worktable structure — top, legs, hat channels, undershelves, enclosed bases, doors, drawers, and backsplashes — laser-cut, formed, welded, and finished (including electropolish and passivation). Bought-out accessories such as casters, adjustable feet, sink faucets and plumbing fittings, poly cutting surfaces, and any electrical equipment are supplied or fitted by you. We build the stainless structure with provisions sized to your accessories.

Gauge Released drawing and buyer load inputs
Load Capacity Buyer- or engineer-defined and validated for the configured table
Hygiene Grade Customer-defined cleanable geometry, surfaces, joints and finish; hygiene records and approval scope agreed during RFQ
Finishing No.4 brushed, electropolish, and passivation for cleanability and corrosion resistance
Top Features Smooth top, formed/turned edges, optional V-edge with ½" ledge to stop spillage
Backsplash Formed backsplashes (e.g. 4" with 1" return) to protect walls and contain spills

04 / Manufacturing Process

From Stainless Sheet to Finished Table

A hygienic table demands smooth surfaces, clean welds, and proper finishing. Our process delivers a durable, sanitary, made-to-size table.

01

DFM & Sizing

Review your sizes, gauge, configuration (undershelf, enclosed base, sink), and hygiene requirements — confirm material (304/316/430) and layout.

02

Laser Cutting

Fiber laser cutting of tops, shelves, legs, panels, and base components — clean edges and accurate sizing for the whole table.

03

Forming

CNC press-brake forming — turned edges, backsplashes, V-edges, and hat channels, formed accurately for fit and a clean, safe surface.

04

Welding & Finishing

Welding the structure, then grinding and blending welds smooth, with No.4 brush, electropolish, and passivation for a hygienic, corrosion-resistant surface.

05

Assembly

Assembling shelves, doors, drawers, and feet provisions — a complete, sturdy table ready for your casters or plumbing where applicable.

06

Inspection

Dimensional inspection, weld and finish quality check, and stability/fit verification before delivery — clean and ready to deploy.

05 / Why It Matters

What Makes a Commercial Table Right

A worktable is daily-use infrastructure that has to stay sanitary and sturdy for years. Four things separate a professional table from a flimsy one.

Hygiene & Cleanability

Food and healthcare demand sanitary surfaces. Smooth 304 stainless, blended welds, and electropolished finishes wipe clean and resist bacteria — the basis of sanitation compliance.

The Right Gauge

Gauge is durability. 14 ga resists dents from cleavers and heavy use; 16 ga suits standard prep; 18 ga is economical for light tasks. Matching gauge to use avoids both denting and overspending.

Stability & Load

A table that flexes or wobbles fails fast. Hat-channel reinforcement, welded legs, and leveling feet keep the table stable and load-rated under real working weight.

Made to Fit

Every kitchen and facility is different. Custom widths and lengths — and configurations like enclosed bases and sinks — optimize the footprint instead of forcing a stock size.

09 / FAQ

Stainless Worktable FAQ

Do you supply complete tables or just the stainless structure?

We fabricate the complete stainless structure — top, legs, hat channels, undershelves, enclosed bases, doors, drawers, sink bowls, and backsplashes — welded and finished. Casters, adjustable feet, sink faucets and plumbing fittings, poly cutting surfaces, and any electrical equipment are supplied or fitted by you. We build the structure with provisions for your accessories.

Which stainless grade and gauge should I choose?

304 is the standard for food and healthcare (it contains nickel for superior corrosion resistance); 316 for harsher environments; 430 is an economy option. For gauge: 14 ga is heavy-duty and dent-resistant (butcher/heavy use), 16 ga is standard, and 18 ga is economical for light tasks or undershelves. We'll advise based on your use.

How are NSF requirements reviewed for a worktable project?

Specify the required NSF standard, table model, intended market and acceptance documentation in your RFQ. We manufacture the released cleanability features and finishes. The applicable product listing, inspection package and final hygiene validation are confirmed for the quoted configuration with the equipment owner and responsible certification body.

Can you make custom sizes and configurations?

Width and length follow the released drawing, with configurations such as undershelves, enclosed bases with doors/drawers, backsplashes, and integrated sinks. Send us your sizes and we'll build to fit your space.

Can you do tables for healthcare or industrial use, not just kitchens?

Yes. The same hygienic stainless tables suit healthcare, laboratories, cleanrooms, and industrial settings — anywhere a durable, cleanable stainless surface is needed. We can adjust grade, finish, and configuration to your application.

What's your minimum order quantity?

We support everything from a single custom table to high-volume catalog programs. Send us your sizes and requirements and we'll confirm MOQ and pricing for your project.
